THE four-times Women’s World Professional Champion, Lisa Ashton, continued the form she has shown all weekend into the final to beat Casey Gallagher 5-2.

The pair went leg for leg, and were level at two-all, but despite a 180 from Gallagher to put pressure on Ashton’s finish, ‘The Lancashire Rose’ held her nerve to move three legs to two in front.

Ashton then broke the Gallagher throw in the sixth leg in 15 darts with an impressive 135 checkout on the bull, with Gallagher sat on a 120 finish.

Ashton held her throw in the seventh leg, finishing in 18 darts, taking out 68 hitting two doubles in the process to become this year's champion. Ashton last won the Women’s title back in 2011, whilst Gallagher won the girls title in 2013.
