A look ahead at the Women's Final and the Men's Semi Finals from Day 8 of the BDO Lakeside World Professional Darts Championships.

Women’s Final – Lorraine Winstanley Vs Mikuru Suzuki

Lorraine Winstanley will open the days action against Mikuru Suzuki in the BDO Women’s World Championship final. Lorraine has defeated two former World Champions on route to the final, meanwhile Suzuki overcame Lisa Ashton, who was arguably the form player coming into the tournament.

The two have never met on a competitive stage, but sparks are bound to fly when the two collide on Saturday afternoon. Winstanley was a World Masters winner in 2017, but that is the only major victory in her BDO career, she will be looking to average that record we she faces Mikuru Suzuki live on QuestTV and Eurosport on Saturday.

Scott Waites Vs Michael Unterbuchner

Two-time World Champion Scott Waites will take on Michael Unterbuchner in the first semi-final of the afternoon. He German came through a nip and tuck tussle with Willem Mandigers to make his second semi-final in two years competing on the Lakeside stage. Waites has gone through Jeffrey van Egdom, Richard Veenstra and Conan Whitehead to make it this far, so he will be well up for what could be a classic semi-final at the Frimley Green Club.

Glen Durrant Vs Jim Williams

Glen Durrant is still on course to match Eric Bristow’s record of three consecutive World titles at the Country Club, but in order to reach that coveted third final he will have to beat Wales’ Jim Williams. ‘The Quiff’ came through a marathon contest with Scott Mitchell to reach this stage but will have to up his performance one more notch to defeat the tournament favourite.
