Almost time for the annual pilgrimage to Pontins Prestatyn for the Welsh Open. This year see's the addition of an extra Welsh Event, the Welsh Classic which is a Category A for the Men & B for the Ladies. This new event takes place on Friday 10th May start time 10am and will be followed in the evening with the Men's and Ladies Pairs competition starting at 6pm.

Saturday starts with the Welsh Counties battling it out to see who will become champions for 2019; this is followed by the Youth Singles. At 5.30pm the Mixed Pairs will be played so a full day of darts.

Sunday is another early start 9.30am for the Cat A+ Welsh Open for the Men & Ladies start play in the afternoon both are played down to the stage finals, these normally finish around 11.30pm.

Entries are online only at www.welshdarts.org The singles can be entered by residents and day visitors with Pontins making a charge at the gate for a day pass which goes direct to Pontins and not the Welsh Darts Organisation. To enter the Pairs Events you must be a resident staying in Pontins. The only events you can enter onsite for is the Thursday Evening money in money out.

The British Disability Darts Association will be having two events over the weekend, the first is on Friday Morning toe the oche at 11.00am and the second is on Sunday Morning again starting at 11.00am.
