Ralfs Laumanis (Latvia), Kirsi Viinikainen (Finland) and Andrey Pontus (Belorussia) won the 2019 Latvia Open singles titles in Riga.
Ralfs Laumanis won his semi-final over teammate Roberts Bulko 3-1, whilst Estonia's Patrick Passa won 3-1 in the second semi-final against Daniela Delveris. In the final Ralfs Laumanis won his first Latvia Open title against Patrick Passa 4-1.
In the ladies semi-finals, two very close matches, both finishing 5-4 which saw Sarmite Lavrentjeva (Latvia) and Kaisu Rekinen (Finland) narrowly edged out of a place in the final. The final was contested between Helene Sundelin (Sweden) and Kirsi Viinikainen (Finland), where Viinikainen took the title over Sundelin.
The Men’s singles title went to Andrey Pontus (Belorussia) as he beat Russia's Aleksey Kadochnikov in the final. England's Paul Harvey and Sweden's Edwin Thorbjornsson were defeated in the semi-finals.
