BDO World Trophy Day Four Evening Session Results

Evening Session- Play starts at 7pm.

William Borland 2 vs 6 Jim Williams (4)


Jim Williams secures his place in the quarter-finals with a 6-2 win over William Borland. Borland held his own up to 3-2, but when the pair returned after the break, it all went Williams way, and he took the last three legs in 16, 15 and 13 darts.

Anca Ziljstra 0 vs 4 Lorraine Winstanley (1)


Lorraine Winstanley dominated her match against Anca Zijlstra, wining in straight legs. Zijlstra had chances to hold her thrown in the fourth leg, but missed doubles saw Winstanley take advantage for a 4-0 victory.

Andy Baetens (12) 4 vs 6 Scott Baker


A rollercoaster match between Scott Baker and Andy Baetens saw Baker comfortably 4-1 ahead at the break, but a rejuvenated Baetens came back with legs of 18, 11 and 16 to level the scores at 4-4. An 80 finish under pressure saw Baker hold his throw in the ninth and a well-timed 14-dart leg sees Baker safely through to the quarter-finals 6-4.

Darius Labanauskas 6 vs 4 Richie Edwards


A gritty performance from both Darius Labanauskas and Richie Edwards goes the Lithuanian’s way 6-4. After a steady start, double trouble in the fifth leg saw Labanauskas take the first break of throw and Edwards never quite regained his composure. Labanauskas will play the winner of Tony O’Shea and Glen Durrant.

Anastasia Dobromyslova (5) 4 vs 2 Lisa Ashton (4)


Anastasia Dobromyslova completes the ladies semi-final line-up with a 4-2 win over Lisa Ashton. Despite a 115 checkout in the second leg, Ashton never quite got going and Dobromyslova seized her opportunity, taking the final leg in 14-darts with three back to back 140's and a 82.17 average.

Tony O’Shea  1 vs 6 Glen Durrant (1)


Glen Durrant finishes the evening off in style, claiming a 6-1 win over the ever-popular Tony O’Shea, registering just under a 103 average in the process. O’Shea broke Durrant in the fourth leg, checking out in 15, however Duzza’s relentless scoring and clinical finishing saw him safely through to the quarter-finals.
