Yorkshire and England Youth’s Beau Greaves became only the fourth girl to retain her Winmau World Masters Girls title as she beats Canadian Hayley Crowley 4-0.
Greaves had a close-run semi-final against the 2017 runner up Katie Sheldon, earning her place in the final with a 4-3 victory over the Northern Ireland player. Crowley beat England’s Millie Hooper in her semi-final 4-2.
Greaves is currently dominating the girls game; She is the reigning WDF European Singles and Pairs champion and looks set to take this form into the ladies game, having already reached two major ranked semi-finals and finishing in 13th place overall in the 2017/2018 BICC system!
The Netherlands Jurjen van der Velde became the 2018 Boys World Master with an impressive 89.04 average over last years runner up, Keane Barry.
Barry beat World Youth Qualifier Leighton Bennett 4-3 in the semi-finals, whilst van der Velde took a 4-2 win over reigning Dutch Open Youth Champion, Keanu can Velzen.
